Seventh Day Adventist Christian Education is centered around ministering to others. Adobe Adventist Christian School had the opportunity to do just that on August 22nd. An elderly lady in the Apache Junction Seventh Day Adventist Church was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer, and Hospices was called in to assist her.
Carol, has been a faithful church member for many years. When AACS found out about her illness, we decided to make a home visit. We sang many familiar songs of praise, and had the privilege of listening to her personal testimony of how she became a Seventh Day Adventist. She is praising her wonderful Lord and Savior and she knows God has a plan for her life through this illness. She is looking forward to the soon return of Jesus. Teacher and students alike were truly blessed as we listened to her personal testimony. James 1:27 says: “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” A second visit is planned in the very near future.

God Bless,
Steve Shelton
